Welcome Alumni!

校友

Since CAIS first opened its doors on September 12, 1981, in the basement of a University of California Extension Building, the student population has grown from 10 to more than 550 at our forever home, a 5.4-acre campus on 19th Avenue.

As alumni of Chinese American International School, you helped create a legacy at CAIS and are an integral part of our history. Once a Firedragon, always a Firedragon!

We encourage you to stay connected with your CAIS family by attending alumni events, reunions, and other school gatherings. As an alumnus, you are always welcome!

Please let us know if you would like a tour of the new campus, to connect with a former teacher, or to learn more about CAIS student programming!

Interested in being a Class Representative?

Class Representatives play a crucial role in fostering a strong sense of community with their alumni class while serving as vital liaisons between the Advancement Office and alumni from their graduating class.

Their primary duties include:

  • Maintaining communication with classmates
  • Sharing changes in contact details with the Advancement team
  • Promoting upcoming alumni events and motivating classmates to attend
  • Collecting Class Notes for the bi-annual CAIS Alumni Newsletter
  • Encouraging classmates to actively engage in the ongoing life of CAIS

If you’re interested in serving as a Class Representative, please contact LiJin Yan, Alumni Engagement & Event Manager at li_yan@cais.org.

Keep in Touch
