On the next-to-last day of school, the entire Middle School student body went up the hill to the field to participate in something that’s become an end-of-year tradition—an all-middle school Yuki Ball championship. Does a Yuki Ball game warrant mention in the Middle School Update? If you saw how seriously the students take this game, you would not ask that question. For those of you not familiar with Yuki Ball, imagine a cross between capture the flag and dodgeball. The kids love it. After a series of over eight games, a team composed of the eighth grade advisory group Microwave Fire and seventh grade advisory group House of Cards defeated the five other combined advisory groups to claim the championship.
