Respect for Others and Our Environment

CAIS students learn and play within basic guidelines that protect and nurture the individual while fostering cooperation and understanding within the group. Faculty and staff teach and model four core values:

Green School Initiative

Understanding the implications of global warming and taking responsibility for our environment, CAIS students and faculty work closely with the French American International School to green our campus. We already have:

• Completed a building-wide carbon footprint measurement and analysis
• Reviewed our recycling programs
• Received staff and student training by scientists and SF Environment
• Implemented a new recycling program that will include composting

Along with studying the environment, we will expand both awareness and hands-on programs to make “going green” a lifelong pursuit.
