What We Do
As parents in the school, you are part of the CAIS Family School Alliance (FSA). Every parent commits to volunteering a minimum of 20 hours (40 hours per family) per school year to help build upon the vibrant environment for our children. In order to help us match your interests and talents with the many opportunities to contribute, complete the online volunteer information form and return via email here.
Please contact the FSA if you have any questions regarding the FSA or if you would like to get involved in volunteer activities.
The Family School Alliance includes all CAIS parents and is focused on supporting the school’s mission, values and programs through volunteer service, community building and events. Click here to view and download FSA operating protocols.
All parents and guardians of students presently attending CAIS as well as all faculty and staff are automatically members of the CAIS FSA and are welcome to attend general meetings. CAIS faculty members -- represented by the early childhood, lower and middle school directors -- have an important voice and are encouraged to attend.
FSA Meeting Dates
The monthly meetings take place at the Oak Street Campus, every third Tuesday of the month from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. with the exception of a couple of meetings which might be held on a different Tuesday of the month during the evening hours at the Waller Street Campus.
