Increasing Fitness Along with Cognitive and Motor Development

Our comprehensive physical education program encourages students to learn skills, concepts, games, educational gymnastics, and rhythm and dance.
Beginning in kindergarten, students head to the gymnasium or playground once a week for PE. Classes increase in frequency as student’ grade levels move up. Middle School, students take physical education class three times a week.
All lessons are age-appropriate, tailored to the individual student and based on State guidelines. Moreover, PE classes are goal-oriented rather than competitive. We seek to foster healthy lifestyles, improve motor skills, and enhance social and personal skills.
